For the first time EVER, Mid-Pac will be host to the "Water Treatment from the Kitchen and Beyond" competition!

It was decided at the Mid-Pac 2008 Business meeting that the winning school will continue to develop the treatment scenario as well as the water ingredients. As such, UC Berkley is going to be the school that chooses what scenario will be tested.

This competition is currently scheduled to be held in front of the new Joe Crowley Student Union at UNR, however that may change depending on the availability of space on a school day. The judging will be done by local Environmental Engineers and Professors.

Many of the schools that do this competition are not usually a part of Mid-Pac ,so this year the Competition will have a lot more students! Come check out the competition whether or not your school is compete! Who, knows you may want to get your school involved with this one! Hopefully all of the schools that are going to participate enjoy themselves as this should be a very exciting year!
